Alzheimer’s disease is affecting the population in epidemic proportions. Longer life spans have increased the chances of developing the disease as well as possible environmental causes. Research is also exploring a link to certain viruses. Whatever the cause, we are all at risk of either developing the disease in some form or knowing someone who does.
